1.
The daguerrotype was the first successful photographic process. The surface resembled a silvered copper plate. They were most prominent in the 1820's to the 30's. The daguerrotype replaced camera obscura.

The first way the public could produce a picture on a paper base from a negative. Egg white emulsion. Around the 1990's.

An image that has depth perception. They were popular in the 1990's.
A type of small picture. Taking pictures of important people such as Napoleon III.

4.
Mathew Brady was a photographer during the American civil war, and Alexander Gardner was also a civil war photographer from Scotland. They were both in the civil war and took pictures of the battles. They were active in the civil war.

Nicéphore Niépce was a photographic scientist. He is believed to be one of the first people to take photographs with a system called photogravur etching to take his pictures. 
This photo is called un Clair de Lune which is translated to moonlight.
